Alex, Steve, and Dakota were very professional. I live in Princeton, BC and had contacted several contractors who either didn't return my call or did not service the Princeton area. Alex came by the very next day to give me an estimate and discussed the replacement of the aging furnace, and new installation of the air conditioner. I had an estimate in hand later that day and within a week, the furnace had been replaced, AC installed and the entire work area was left clean and tidy. Very impressed. I am also a tradesman and it was very refreshing to see that there are still good quality people applying their craft. I would not hesitate to utilize their services at a later date, and highly recommend Response to others. Excellent value for the money.

Alex and his crew did an excellent job installing my new furnace, from the estimate to the final clean up, they were prompt and professional! They did all the extras that came up during the install without any added cost. Accolades to Mike and Mel... M&M... you did a great job! Thanks!

Alex and his guys were all very friendly, professional and accommodating. They are definitely not the least expensive though by far so I wish I had shopped around first for costs. Update- I asked Alex multiple times to check a gas smell that I had smelled from the very beginning as he had not done the installation himself he had left his guys to do it and then never checked it himself. After trying to contact Alex and him ignoring me after leaving several messages, I tried Okanagan Home Center which had recommended him and they said they'd try to get him to respond but thought it sounded normal. He finally answered one time and said to expect a certain smell at the start so I ignored it. I also did some online research and red that off-gassing is an issue so I thought maybe that was it. One day, with I'm assuming a downdraft, I smelled it again quite strong coming from the fireplace insert, and the pilot was off! (In the meantime I had smelled it off and on and others in the building had smelled the same smell. I asked him to pop by if he could as it would only take a couple of minutes, again more than once. He again didn't even bother to reply. I thought it wouldn't be life threatening or he would have gotten back to me. Update: there was a gas leak that another company found for me. They had to come back a couple of times as the fireplace insert was incorrectly inserted and connected. This cost me money, time and two and a half years of breathing gas which resulted in health issues. Stay away from this company.

We needed air conditioning in our home, we have a fairly new heating system. Alex assessed what we needed, gave us a price that we were very pleased with. and the next week they were here installing the system. Stephen and Dakota, Alex's apprentices, were very professional, and efficient. Inside of 4 hours our system was installed and ready to go. They even cleaned and vacuumed where they had worked. Alex even came back to ensure the work was to our satisfaction. Can't say enough good about them. A real pleasure to deal with. Thank you Response.

Alex and his crew have been outstanding. We had another company come to check our furnace and
AC system, and they completely missed the extensive problems with the existing furnace. Alex was forthright and honest in his evaluation of our heating and cooling system. He also was able to replace both units within a short period of time, as promised. Furthermore, he ensured we had the proper documentation to send off for Fortis. We highly recommend Alex and his company RESPONSE HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING to anyone who requires service in either field.
